AshleyRiot
I'm not only new to this forum but new to Apple and OSX (OSx86). For the past two days I have been trying to install a dual boot on my main machine. After reading the FAQ regarding nforce, I have come to the conclusion that my hardware is not compatable. I am trying to install iDeban OSx86 v10.5.5. I am able to get to the installation screen but unable to mount a disc. I keep getting an error when trying to mount the chosen installation partition. I am installing on a primary drive with allotted space. Here is the problem. I am using an ABIT IN32MAX mobo with nForce 680i. I believe that is the problem because as the FAQ stated there is only support up to 640. Would this cause this error? I am mostly just curious if I am going to have to switch to a different motherboard. I would like someone to verify this is possible . Thank you in advance . Here is the mobo: ABIT IN9 32MAX Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148201-conclusion-osx86-not-compatableplease-verify/ Share on other sites
