You can download the kexts you need for 10.5.6 from here http://www.infinitemac.com/f7/kext-package...-install-t1823/ put them on a usb stick, do upgrade, then boot with leopard dvd replace kexts with these and repair permissions. No I don't think it's graphics, but you shouldn't have any problems if you replace these kexts. Just after installing the kexts you'll need to deal with graphics and boot -x If you have further probs pm me if you want. You shouldn't have any probs your system is about as compatible as you can get. Just out of interest what bios version are you using? insomnimac Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 Are you trying to update from 10.5.5 or install a new system? I've read that you need a clean install for iPC 10.5.6. Eveeytrhign works fine on my GA-P35-DS3 E2160 2GB RAM 512MB 8400GS SATA HDD and IDE DVD, both in AHCI mode Also make sure you only choose one from all the options. When booting off the DVD type 'vanilla -v' and see if any errors popup then.
