Macxor
Good day mates. Has anyone attempted to install iDeneb on an Asus N80vb/X83vb yet? From what I can tell, it uses Realtek HD Audio (I have no idea what chipset) Nvidia Geforce 9300M GS Video Intel WiFi Link 5000 AGN Any advice would be appreciated. AnthonyA
this is probably a little outdated but i have a problem with this too. i used Ideneb 1.4 on my Asus X83v. It installs just fine but then when i try to boot up, it freezes after saying: using 16384 buffer headers and 4096....... it just stalls after that. i think it has the vanilla kernel on it. i've tried putting a ToH Kernel on it and booting from that. but thats not working. i'm trying a dsmos.kext to see if it'll make anything work. i'll post back with the results. oh and if you have figured this out Macxor, please let me know. Or if anyone else has figured it out, i would love some tips. EDIT: That didn't work. I even tried with different kernels. That didn't work either. I'm going to try maybe deleting the kext cache and see if that works. for some reason it isn't registering the dsmos.kext. So maybe deleting the kext will work. I'll post back on that later if it works.
