Hi

Last week i aquired a MSI945GM2 board, wich as Integrated GMA950 hardware, and i was surprised to see that strange is not 100% compatible with any of the OSX versions... Till 10.4.6 wich has the new Kext bundles.

My System Profile no longer shows VGA compatible card but "Built In"!!! I guess It assumes my machine as iMac. kkkkkk

But not reflecting in performance increase. Using Quartz Debug´s Frame Meter i was able to compare the GUI frame rate between My Faulty GMA950 and Mobility Radeon 9700 both with CI, QE, OGL, Q2DX Enabled, abd here are the results.

Desktop

GMA950 - Beam Sync ON ---> +90 FPS

GMA950 - Beam Sync OFF ---> +90 FPS

Laptop

ATI M9700 - Beam Sync ON ---> 35 FPS

ATI M9700 - Beam Sync ON ---> +90 FPS

See the diference? That is what´s causing my problem... I Use a Sony CRT @85Hz and its obvious that not all frames are showing on the screen. The GUI is Showing more frames than my screen (limited at 85hz) . how is this possible??

Why isnt Beam Sync doing its job? whts wrong with my hardware? and were can i find documentation related to programming Quartz?

Thank to yall for the great support.

UPDATE

I noticed on a strange thing doing my Xbench tests. Aparently if i move my mouse during the test, the User Interface Test increases dramaticly...

Even with no Kext loaded the problem continues, and the problems starts right at the installation where i see progress bar overlapping.

Below is some usefull Info...
