I burned the OSx86 10.4.4/5 patched ISO to a double-layer DVD, and ran it through my external DVD drive (I am installing OSX natively). When I booted up (changed the dvd drive as bootable drive in BIOS), a grey Apple screen came up and after a few minuets a (\) sign came up on the apple, and could not go into installation. I then rebooted and went into -v, and towards the end of a list of things, an error came up. It says-

USBF: 58,181 EHCI controller unable to take control from BIOS

USBF: 58.182 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2855000]: unable to obtain ownership: 0xe00002be

USBF: 58.184 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2855000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be)

USBF: 58.188 AppleUSBEHCI: unable to initialize UIM

Then it starts saying "Still waiting for root device."

My Specs:

3.2 gig Pentium Hyper-threading Processor that supposrts SSE3.

1 gig of ram.

A 120 gig ATA hard drive (I think?).

An external dvd drive (I can buy an internal one if I need too)

And a ATI 9600 SE graphics card.

Any suggestions to fix this?
