danimal
My AMD CPU just fried, so I'm going Intel for osx86. I just got a core 2 duo e7200. I currently have 2 gigs of DDR2-800 ram laying around I want to put to use. I need a micro atx with an onboard sound card so I can use my surround sound speakers. I'm looking to spend around 50-70 dollars+shipping on a mobo. Any suggestions? Try the Gigabyte GA-EG31M-S2 mATX. ncix.com has them for $74Cdn so less in the US I expect. Not certain how well the onboard works, but I would add a PCIe video card anyway. Actually I was thinking the GA-G31M-ES2L, which is the same pretty much but a ALC888 sound chipset. Unless you know of a PCI sound card I can use with osx86, I wont be getting it.
