mwpeters8182
Hello, I'm having some issues getting my OS X (retail) install working. I'm following the guide here: http://menoob.com/2008/09/04/hackintosh-in...il-dvd-on-a-pc/ Rather than using the generic.iso, I'm using the one linked for the EP45-DS3L from the BOOT-132 thread. I've been able to boot up, format the drive, and start the install process, but about 3/4 of the way into the install, I'm getting a kernel panic. Has anyone run into this problem as well? I tried searching, but didn't have much luck. My specs: Gigabyte EP45-DS3L Motherboard Intel Core 2 Quad 9300 4 GB DDR2 800 RAM 500 and 320 GB SATA HDD IDE DVD/RW Nvidia 8800GT (512MB, G92) Thanks in advance for your help. Let me know if there's any more info that might be useful. I'm new to the OSX86 game, but I'm not afraid to tweak or anything.
