brownbox Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 ive got osx working on my wibrain b1h umpc. The internal wireless card is a VIA USB 802.11 card with the vt6656 chipset. Ive had no luck getting it to work on os x. I googled around and found this http://handhdirect.co.uk/products/wifidangle.html It appears to also have a vt6656 chipset based on the description. The driverr provided on the site is for the ZD1211 card. Is there some kind of relationship between the vt6656 and the zd1211? As far as i know, theres no way to use a vt6656 or pretty much any via hardware on mac os because theres just no drivers or any support. However, could this driver work? Or is it just a typo on the website? The card is found in system profiler under usb if thats any help.
