darkgunsou86
The kext was installed properly and the component is detected but AirPort option in Network under System Preferences is missing. Does anyone have any solution for this problem? I really need to enable WiFi on the Compaq 3632TU laptop which iPC is installed on. Thanks. Perceval l'Hylien
The iwiDarwin 4965 is fully experimental and doesn't work. Hopefully you didn't get any kernel panic (you could expect to get one), but : - The System Preferences will probably NEVER support 4965 chipset and you need the terminal app provided with the kext to manage the card ; - The driver currently doesn't support any encrypted connection (WEP, WPA, etc), and uncrypted connections aren't working that fine. I suggest you never to use this kext except you're a tester, and buy a PCIe or USB Broadcom card which would work natively in Mac OS X...
