LeJu01
Hi, I got my first Hackintosh workstation up and running, I just have a few issues and this is one of them. My gigabit LAN gives me about 10mbit transfers, this is very painfull and it ruins the project of using this machine for rendering. I tried the Marvell kext from Ideneb installer, I tried another Marvell driver I found on the forums but no luck. OSX see that this is a gigabit controller but something is wrong, any idea someone? And BTW thanks everyone for the support here, I couldn't have made it without this community! Cheers! Here's what system profiler says about my ethernet controller: Ethernet: Type: Ethernet Hardware: Ethernet BSD Device Name: en1 IPv4 Addresses: 10.0.1.199 IPv4: Addresses: 10.0.1.199 Configuration Method: DHCP Interface Name: en1 NetworkSignature: IPv4.Router=10.0.1.1;IPv4.RouterHardwareAddress=00:1f:f3:c8:b0:7c Router: 10.0.1.1 Subnet Masks: 255.255.255.0 IPv6: Addresses: 2002:4800:cb9b:0000:0222:15ff:fe8d:e8b9 Configuration Method: Automatic Flags: 32832 Interface Name: en1 Prefix Length: 64 Router: fe80:0000:0000:0000:021f:f3ff:fec8:b07c DNS: Server Addresses: 10.0.1.1 DHCP Server Responses: Domain Name Servers: 10.0.1.1 Lease Duration (seconds): 0 DHCP Message Type: 0x05 Routers: 10.0.1.1 Server Identifier: 10.0.1.1 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Proxies: Exceptions List: *.local, 169.254/16 FTP Passive Mode: Yes Ethernet: MAC Address: 00:22:15:8d:e8:b9 Media Options: Full Duplex, flow-control Media Subtype: 1000baseT ipv6_address: 2002:4800:cb9b:0000:0222:15ff:fe8d:e8b9 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147544-slow-lan-speed-with-marvell-88e805688e8001/ Share on other sites
