hlc Posted April 12, 2006 Share Posted April 12, 2006 My notebook is Acer5022 (Turion64 1.6G ,Northbridge is Ati rx480,Southbridge is ati SB400,Ati mobility X600 64MB, Sound : Realtek ALC 655) Could OS install on it?And what drivers i need to download..Afterall, could partition of fat32 be read under OS X? Suser Posted April 12, 2006 Share Posted April 12, 2006 You should try it. There is no need to download drivers, it's like linux. The support is in the OS or it isn't. If it's not you'll probably unable to use the hardware or you take a similar extention and patch it. I could get some unsupported hardware to work this way. Yes, Mac OS X can read and write FAT32 partitions. But first you need to install Mac OS X and then another OS because the disk utility wipes the disk when you try to partition it.
