sorry if this has been covered before but I can't find anything on the forums.

i have an LG X110 (essentially an MSI wind with an internal 3g modem). I have a dual boot to 10.5.4 and xp.

the 10.5.4 works great - have the realtec driver for the wifi, monitor is ok but no mirror (there are fixes but i don't have the time now). My biggest problem is the laptop won't sleep correctly, it goes blank for a second and looks like it's asleep but then it wakes up again automatically. no usb connected, wifi off and the modem doesn't seem to work properly (my second problem). once it's back up everything seems to work fine.

Any ideas?

The other problem, the modem, is not as serious but would be cool if it worked. OSX see's the modem fine and it should have no problem working but i can't turn it on. In xp there is a tool to turn the radio for the modem on and off to save battery i suppose. Unless I have a similar tool in osx i can't get the modem to work.

Otherwise these forums and the msiwindforums are great. I have a pretty much fully functioning macmini netbook and a 8800gt, asus p5k-e, 6gb ram dual screen mac pro that 3d renders dicom images (mri and ct) pretty close to a dedicated workstation. thanks guys

let me know if anyone has some creative solutions.

Hi my modem works using my provider settings (number to call, apn settings, etc) but ONLY after I run once launch2net application (that does not work at all but eventually triggers something up so that then modem works)

Also mine dont sleep correctly: just sleeps for a second or so.
