I would like to share an NTFS drive over the network with my Hackintosh. Does anyone have any good pointers on how to do this and have it working? I am running Kalway 10.5.2.

Not sure if I am going to need special software to do this.

From my reading Macs can talk to FAT32 without a problem, but NTFS is a whole nother ballgame.

i have a 1TB Mybook World NAS live on the network(attached to no computer). No user and pass required to connect. I've been trying to follow the steps in that lifehacker link, but i still can't map it. I can browse it, but i can't connect and use it as a local drive.

any help is appreciated

thanks
