1000H: Kernel Panic - Unsupported CPU after installation of iDeneb 1.3

Hi folks,

I am currently experiencing problems after the installation of iDeneb 1.3 on my Asus 1000H. With the usual HowTos like http://www.centralgadget.com/how-to-mac-os...c-901-1000h-27/ the installation was quite easy. With the first reboot i get a kernel panic "Unsupported CPU, appleintelpowermanagement etc and the "you need to restart…" screen.

I tried all different options - without success

Yes BIOS is ver. 1103, I tested all available CPU and chipset options in the Bios enabled/disabled.

Any ideas what to do?

I'm pretty confused, since I have not read of this problem at all. It seems that all Mac OSX installations on the 1000H of other freaks were successul.

Best Regards,

Tim

I've not used ideneb but are there no options for powermanagement? Short term you could just delete the kext

...since I'm not yet really familiar with Mac OS X I don't really know what to do if you tell me to just delete the kext. Would you be so kind to tell me, where to do so? Is there such an option when I choose CUSTOMIZE INSTALLATION?

Any further help is appreciated!

Thanks, Tim

...I burned the DVD once again with IMGBURN instead of NERO and reinstalled OSX - everything works fine now!

I've absolutely no clue what caused the kernel panic at first installation!

Don't worry about it at least you solved it that's the main thing.

Man, now I'm having the same problem...

I'm trying to reinstall OSx86 now, I can't burn it again since I didn't burn it, I'm installing it from an external HD.

I think I forgot to turn off the options into the "Advanced CPU" settings in the BIOS, I'll check that when the install finishes.
