Pare che il Voodoo Team stia lavorando ad un driver alternativo all'applehda per permettere il perfetto funzionamento delle schede audio con tanto di uscita cuffia ed ingresso microfono.

Speriamo.

Just thought i'd give everyone a heads up that all the existing attempts to get AppleHDA working properly has now been solved. The Voodoo team (one specific member really) has created an alternative implementation of AppleHDA which supports internal speakers and headphones seamlessly. Sound output defaults to the internal speakers but if headphones are connected it automatically switches over to them. This implementation is a direct port of the FreeBSD HDAC drivers so pretty much every single HDA device will work. Input support should be coming soon (the hardware side of things is done). Further details are unavailable at this time - its been a bit of a shock to us on the Voodoo team how fast the implementation was done (under 2 weeks). This has to be one of the biggest news in the OS X scene for a long time and will make sound on a hackintosh a much simpler solution.

At the end of the week its highly likely a public beta will be released. Source code will also be released so others can get involved.

Non ci resta che sperare.
