absd223211
hey guys, today i set up boot camp and loaded windows and everything. although when i was done and the system rebooted it read disc read error and that i needed to restart. so after a few restarts, the error message continued to come up. the only way to bypass the error message was to hold option and select mac HD to boot. so, figuring that i could simply get rid of the problem by getting rid of the parturition, i combined my hard drive back to back to one. Now when i boot i get another error message saying that her is no bootable disk and that i need to insert a disk to boot. once again the only way to bypass this message is to hold option during the boot and select the now only hard drive left. anyone help me! lol i think i can live without windows at this point. i just want my baby back to normal. what do i need to do? any tips will help. thank you so much, xvibraluxx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146813-help-i-hurt-my-baby/ Share on other sites
sonicspeed720
maybe your mac is attempting to still boot from the windows partition? go to the system preferences, i'm not on my mac right now, but somewhere in there should be an option for "target disk mode" that's the only thing i can think of at the moment...
