cranialsurge
I installed Leopard from a Kalyway 10.5.2 disc on to a blank 250GB SATAII Seagate drive with 1 partition on it. The install went successfully and on the restart I was prompted with the Darwin boot "Leopard HD(0,1)" option. I highlighted the entry and hit enter but all it does is restart my computer and presents me with the same screen. I get no errors just a restart every time I try and boot in to Leopard. I tried both the GUID and MBR partitioning schemes but to no avail. My System Specs are as follows:- Processor: Intel Q9450 2.66GHz. Motherboard: Asus P5N-D (nForce 750-SLI based chipset) VGA Card: nVidia GTX 260 I installed the system using the vanilla kernel (for SSE3), AHCPI and the default nvinject VGA drivers. Can someone tell me what I might be missing ? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146800-cannot-boot-in-to-leopard/ Share on other sites
Michael-on-a-mac
nforce and vanilla don't mix well, also check the system log by booting into single user mode (-s) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146800-cannot-boot-in-to-leopard/#findComment-1040434 Share on other sites
cranialsurge
Which kernel should I use then ? The default ? No options work at the Darwin boot. -s restarts the computer just the same.
