sts01
After moving my home directory onto a second HD Firefox fails on restart. It installs fine and works but locks up after shutdown or restart. Firefox opens but won't open pages and all bookmarks are gone. I can fix it by pointing the home directory back to the system drive and it reliably fails if home is on another disc. I have reinstalled firefox after moving the home directory, tried installing it to the same disc and it does exactly the same thing. Safari is not affected (but I REALLY don't want to have to use it instead of Firefox) Any ideas? On restart Firefox looks like: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146586-firefox-fails-after-moving-home-directory/ Share on other sites
RobUSVI
After moving my home directory onto a second HD Firefox fails on restart. Is the second drive formatted as FAT32 by chance? sts01
Is the second drive formatted as FAT32 by chance? Yes it is, although this hasn't been a problem for any other apps and Firefox works OK initially...
