xakarix84
hello guys, as title, i installed Linksys WUSB54GC wireless usb dongle with driver download from ralink page, follow by instruction and kext found in this forum, it works well, other than i have to include -f in boot.plist so i don't need to re-plug usb dongle every start up. my problem is, i can't shutdown properly with the wireless usb dongle on, it goes black screen but fan and mouse still on like some other members meet, some cause by multiple core, or other problem, i have tried some suggest solution such as powerbug fix, shutdownfix, but no luck. i can shutdown successful if i don't boot with -f or re-plug as long as wireless usb dongle not working, or un-plug dongle before shutdown. i'm looking for any solution to fix it, or is there a way to disconnect dongle in OSX before shutdown so that i don't need to un-plug? Thanks for reading, any help appreciated. =) my system, ideneb v1.3 10.5.5 with vanilla kernel intel dg31pr mainboard intel e7300 2.66ghz corsair 2gb ram ddr2 800 gigabyte geforce 8500gt gddr3 turboforce ultra 640Gb western.d sataII Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146566-linksys-wireless-wusb54gcralink-rt73-mini-usb-cause-osx-cant-shutdown-properly/ Share on other sites
