Wylde
Hi everyone Yesterday I wanted to install iATKOS v5i 10.5.5, so I downloaded image, checked md5 and burned. After about 15 minutes my computer stopped responsing, DVD-drive stopped working so i restarted installation and run it with "-v" param. What could I read is kextd[47]: root filesystem is read-only... then something like: skip kernel linking... but it went forward, after a while i could read: diskarbitrationd[51]: (something abour CoreRaid...) diskarbitrationd[44]: unable to mount disk0s1 diskarbitrationd[44]: unable to mount disk0s2 after that one more error, something like: ReportCrash[110]: cannot mkdir ... system read-only ReportCrash[113]: cannot mkdir ... system read-only and then it freezes (it writes that system halt by root). My hardware is: Gigabyte Ga-G31M-S2L (chipset G31) GraphicCard: Intel GMA3100 Audio: Intel HDA HDD: 250GB ATA (!!) 2gb RAM DVD-RW (ATA) HDD has 2 partitions: ~220gb NTFS Windows (wanna keep it) ~25gb FAT32 <- this is for Mac Os I tried with aprtition made in diskpart (id=af), the same resoult... I think it's maybe becouse of my ATA drive, I mess a lot with bios, upgraded it to the newest version, but still that error "unable to mount ...." I googled a lot, but I cant find any solution...;/ Thanks for any advice (btw sry for my english...)
