I use windows xp, xp x64 and vista ultimate x64 on the same pc. but I'm thining load to MAC OS x86 (hackintosh)10.5.5.. Is it possible? Please help me about this subject.. Why AMD phenom, because I'm make a graphic and design and the animation, AMD cpu's are very stable and not hot...(perfonmans degree is 37.. this is very good, my idea ) Please help me for OSx86 how is the install? (I'm downloading Ideneb 10.5.5. DVD for AMD)... Anarchee Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 The only distro that -partially- worked for me, and I have a similar configuration*, was Leo4all v4.1 AMD Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ9 (I think) 8GB DDR2-RAM GeForce 8800GTS 512MB Sound works Graphics works (NVkush) Networking (Intel PRO/1000GT) does NOT work Booting doesn't work without the install DVD being inside Good luck.. Installed using iDeneb v1.3, 10.5.5 Here is my hardware and what drivers I use. CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9500 @ 2.2GHz MB: Asus M2N68-LA, Narra3 Chipset: Nvidia nForce 430 RAM: 3GB DDR II SDRAM 667 MHz PC2-5300 HDD: 2 x 500 GB, Serial ATA-300 Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512 MB Onboard LAN: PCI Realtek RTL8201N Audio: Onboard Realtek, ALC888S Drivers: AMD Patch kernel 9.4.0 stage XNU AppleNForceATA Test NVInject 0.2.1 512MB nforce 0.62.6n (installed afterwards using kexthelper) ALC888 I also had to bypass the "welcome setup" because it looped after "do you already own a mac".
