On the restart after successful install computer goes into endless gray logo spinning. i am new to this forum as seeking for help on this issue. I can not even boot into verbose mode bcuase there is not open to press F8. Any help is greatly appreciated. When you start you should see a darwin screen that counts down. Press F8 and enter -v This is display useful information during the start up process. Reply back with where your system hangs. If that doesn't work try -v -f and if that doesn't work try -v -x -v Verbose Mode displays the boot process as text so if it hangs somewhere you can see it. -f OSX creates a cache of all of the kexts (drivers) in the extensions folder. This command forces OSX to pull the files from the folder. -x Safe Mode OSX only pulls the necessary kexts (drivers) to get OSX up and running.
