mikeveli20 Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Is there any major differences between these two boards that would affect compatibility with an OS X86 installation? More specifically iDeneb v1.3 OS X 10.5.5 as that's the version I have. I've seen several people with the GA-G31M-S2L board and according to the OS X86 wiki, it is fully compatible with the Vanilla kernel and everything works with just a patch or two. However, the only board I can get from the online retailer where I shop is the GA-EG31M-S2 so I was just wondering what the differences were before I went ahead to make the purchase. Thanks.
