I booted with the -v -x -f nad I noticed that it allows me to run the sistem in single mode and higlight an error: failed to load extension com.apple.driver.appleintelcpupowermanagement What should I do to make the sistem run has before? Should I need to reinstall some kext would you be so gently to post it directly in the reply? Many thanks PS. I noticed that when in single user mode my computer goes to sleep properly and wake up when I hit the power button (while before it never woke up). Does this rings a bell to anyone? Is there any way to highlight the kext that prevent the computer to go to sleep properly? insomnica Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Try booting from the install DVD and using terminal and a USB thumbdrive. Then you can grab the kext from someplace (the install FS, possibly?) and pop it in that way. Hope I helped, only a newbie!
