d4vinder Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Hi I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 successfully on my asus p5b deluxe. At the first run configuration up to the"How do you connect" screen runs fine. At the "How do you connect screen" when i select option "My computer is not connected to to the Internet" and hit "continue" it simply grey out the continue button and starts the spinning wheel. the HDD clicks as if its working, but remains in this state until i switch off or restart manually. I know there is a registration screen where user enters details after this but it never seems to appear. Can anyone shed some light on this???? PS forgot to mention, this iso. install of kalyway has been installed with full success on another similar hardware setup (P5b deluxe, core2duo 4gb ram) previously on a friends computer sometime ago but he doesn't recall anything different with the installation settings. His first run configuration ran smoothly. Turns out its not a good idea for the volume name to contain special characters such as apstoraphies ! solved case closed!
