We could give you a better idea if you post your specs or put them in your signature. iPC 10.5.6 is pretty robust. There are a few issues but the robust driver collection is well worth it. For AMD you should look into Voodoo 9.5.0 RC1 kernel as it eliminates a lot of issues that plague AMD OSX users.
