bobapplemac
Hey Everyone, After much frustration, I still cannot get sleep to work on my hackintosh! I can get full sleep working with kabylkernel 9.2.2, using kalyway 10.5.2, but that won't allow me to upgrade easily. So instead, I am trying to get a retail install working using a boot-132 cd (i use the generic one modified with the voodoo kernel 9.5) With that, I can successfully install, but I cannot get sleep to work for the life of me. I know it's not the kernel, because if I boot my kalyway installation using the boot 132 cd, sleep still works just fine. On my retail install, whenever I try to sleep, it goes into system doze instead (same symptom as http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=142835) I have tried replacing the AppleACPIPlatform.kext using the one from my kalyway installation, but that did not help either. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, that would be great!
