if someone could help me.

In the system profile utility only one core si displayed. The temperature monitor application shows only one core. I previously installed the vanilla 9.2.2 kernel and both cores where displayed.

What can I do to displays both cores?

thank you

First check how many cores are active......Go to Terminal and type

sysctl hw.activecpu

done! this is the response

hw.activecpu: 1

So you need to try installing another kernel to enable all cores (assuming of course that you do not need a modded DSDT......). Try Voodoo Rekease Kernel v1.0 rev_A from here....... :thumbsup_anim:

I installed the vodoo kernel but it show me still one core only. If it is helpful the Xbench CPU test gave a score of 95.39.

thanks in advance

Can you boot without having to type cpus=1 at the Darwin boot: prompt?
