I burned some twenty versions including the latest ideneb 10.5.5, iatks v4, leop4allv4 kalyway 10.5.2 I tried all possible commands: when I boot I write -v-x platform CPUs = 2 = X86pc -f but nothing ..... the instalaltion doesn't start at all I unplugged all unnecessary Installation freezes now and always this error "Firewire unable to determine security-mode, defaulting to full-secure still waiting for root device "..." someone told me that "still waiting for root device" means does not recognize the dvd player .... my configuration is: 1. ide dvd player (connected primary) master ide dvd burner (connected primary) slave 2. 80gb sata hd from (linked in secondary) I have an external DVD player but does not boot - what can i do?
