HIMYNAMEISARTHUR Posted January 10, 2009 Share Posted January 10, 2009 hey guys, recently i have been trying to install osx 86 to my notebook, dell vostro 1400, and i encountered many problems.i tried the kalyway dvd, and the ideneb dvd, and both never ever reached the disk utility. the kaly way dvd will get stuck at at the black screen filled with words ( sorry i duno what its called) and ending with 'Darwin kernel Version 9. 2 . 0: Sun Mar 2 00:11 : 08 SCT 2008; made by ToH:-xnu-1228/build/obj/release_i386'. the iDeneb dvd reaches the apple boot screen, the white screen with the grey apple and a circle thingy and it would be running for hours without anything happening. i have checked my bios and set the drive to AHCI and disabled the flash module. im quite lost on what to do now as i was unable to find threads with a similar prob to mine. do anyone of you guys have a solution? thanks in advance and pardon me if i have asked something that already posted..
