Add another Install package to a distro?

I'm sure this is possible. Here's a quick sum-up of my problem/solution idea.

 

- JaS does not detect harddrive native, but does install correctly. (Only installs correctly in VMware, as it wont detect native HDD)

- Kalyway does detect the harddrive native, but does not install correctly. (Tested VMware/native)

 

I'm thinking that I can add Jas' working "basic install" package to Kalyay. Thus, Kalyway will detect the drive, and I will Install JaS' basic package with it.

 

 

Does anyone know how exactly one would go about doing this? Just insert/edit some files and done?
