johnnytluxury
So I got bored the other day, and found an unkown 10.4.5 dvd online.. its was prepatched, but i dont know by who, JaS Myzar, Maxxuss, I dunno. Well, it worked.. my system booted and all was lovely, until.. I moved the mouse. Same thing as the last time I left you guys. My system is incrediblely slow! Now before you go running and saying "yeah it was the install disc", you might not know that i was here way back in the 10.4.1 and 10.4.3 days (yes, waaayy back then, lol), and I had the EXACT same problem. I still havent been able to figure it out. It was so frustrating that i gave up (I NEVER give up!), and decided maybe it wasnt for me. I did all that was in my capacity, all the popular stunts, to gain the speed that i was missing. Nothing worked. I thought i would just have to wait for a later evision that maybe Maxxuss would have changed a few things to get it to be more friendly. So here I am 2 months later, and the same thing. I didnt change any kexts or things of that nature I didnt feel comfortable going that route, but I have read up on the Nforce device Ids not being recognized properly. Could that be it? Even if it was, I have no idea how to go about writing my own kext, recompiling it and whatnot. So Im hoping for a lil light on my situ, maybe you guys have cleared through this kind of muck by now? Specs in my sig, you know how I do... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14565-1045-still-slow-why/ Share on other sites
