Thanks in advance Thomas Check out my Pre-Series nForce + Intel CPU MOBO thread here.......and blog...... Initially do not install any audio, network and video drivers when making your Install DVD Customize selections.......the appropriate driver kexts can be installed later after you have got your basic OS X system running...... de_autojohn
Ok in first time thanks for the reply ^^ But don't understand it all. So I have to install some version of osx, does it mather wich one? And I don't have to chose one customize option when I install? Can you also give a clear link for my still waiting for root device problem or do I have to install iDeneb? Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/145578-please-help-me-to-install/#findComment-1034044 Share on other sites

Thank you Hi there, First, please post all further questions to my Pre-7 Series nForce thread and I will answer them there...... 0. Do you get "still waiting for root device" problem when booting from the Install DVD or when trying to boot from installed OS X system on your SATA or PATA (IDE) HDDs? 1. Check your BIOS settings against the 650i template in post #1 of my Pre-7 Series nForce thread.....and change yours to match.... 2. Recommend you initially use a IDE DVDRW and IDE HDD and partition the HDD as Master Boot Record (MBR) as 2 volumes a Main volume (first partition) and a Test volume (second Partition) formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) 3. Initially assuming your DVD .iso file has the correct MD5 checksum, try Kalyway 10.5.2 and follow my blogged Kalyway 10.5.2 installation guide...... 4. Given your wireless card and GFX card.....initially do not choose any audio, network and video driver options in the Customize menu of the DVD installer......they can be sorted out later......
