Hi. I'm new here. However, I've already took a walk on the forums, but I can't find the answer to fit my problem, even when this one seems to be a popular one!

Issue: my Leopard install won't boot if the install disc is not inside any of the CD drives.

When I set the HDD to boot, my PC will look for another bootable media, ending up in Windows or Linux.

My system specs:

Intel Core 2 Due 2.66 MHz

MB Intel DG33BU Chipset ICH9

2 GB RAM Transcend 5-5-5

HDD Seagate 250 GB

OS:

Leopard installed from iDeneb 1.3 (used this because no Tiger ever did to reach install stage in my PC, so I sticked to iDeneb)

I don't know which kernel do I have, but the command returns: "Darwin dominvs-dominnis-macpro31.local 9.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.4.0: Fri Aug 1 21:34:49 EST 2008; ToH & StageXNU:xnu-1228.5.20/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386".

As I stated before, I have to apologize if posting about this issue qualifies as spamming in the forum, but I have found no functional answer, or some attractive posts just doesn't contain a link to it. As you may have guessed, I'm new at this. Although been using Mac for some time, I do not own one, and I never had a Hackintosh before.

Any help will be "hallowed".
