boss4908
I have an install problem with my DVD burner. I have searched all forums for an answer. My dvds are installing as unknown controller. The dvds will load and play but will not burn with any program I can find for a Mac. All I get is the error message " No Super Drive Found". Any Help is appreciated. I started out with Kalyway 10.5.1 and updated to 10.5.2 with Kalyway. All other update are done from Apple all the way to the present 10.5.6. Everything is running great except no burner found. Below is all the info I know about my build: MOBO Asus P5e LGA 775 x38 /ICH9r chipset - Marvell88E8056 Pcie GB Lan Controller- Jmicron Pata-Sata controller- AMI Bios. CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 / 3.0 Ram Geil 4 GB DDR/800 Video Asus EN8800GT/512 geforce card DVDs LG Internal DVD/Blu-ray GBW-H20L Sata drive Samsung Internal SHS203NBSBN- Sata multi Drive. I had the Samsung first and it would not burn and added the LG and it has the same problem. Any thoughts are appreciated. I also cannol open Toast 9 but it might be slovet it I can get this fixed.
