Hello everybody...i've just installed the Ideneb 1.3 Leopard 10.5.5 release and i have a major problem with usb devices, infact they don't work at all, even if they are already linked at startup...i've tried other releases of hackintosh, every kernel compatible with my AMD system, i've tried to load missing usb kexts, i've also tried to select the usb fix during installation but nothing will do...during boot i get OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep, i don't know what does it mean anyway...

I own a Foxconn C51XEM2AA mobo with chipset NForce 590 SLi...beyond this i also have problems with sata and audio even if i select the proper drivers during installation, but i'd firstly like to solve the usb one...please help me :) ...many thanks

PS if i plug in a usb device endowed with a little light, it will turn on so i don't think it is a supply problem...in system profiler(or something like that)i can see the two controllers,OHCI and EHCI, and i can also see that all usb kext are loaded.

Have you checked that your kernel and System.kext versions match.......?

yes of course i have, they do match...

I only asked because you did not say what you had already done/checked to find/solve your USB problem.....

Then you will need to consider your IOUSBFamily.kext, AppleUSBEHCI, BIOS USB settings,........I presume you see USB 2.0 High Speed bus in System Profiler.........

ok thank you for answering anyway.

yeah i can see the usb 2.0 bus in system profiler and i've also selected IOUSBFamily fix during installation...i really don't know what else i can do.

If you have not tried them already, try the modded USB kexts by slice from here......
