swimtiger
I own a toshiba satellite model 1115. it has a 1.5 ghz intel celeron processor, 512mb ddr pc2700 ram, and an ATI mobility radeon graphics card with 16mb dedicated memory. I first installled an older version of tiger, but it seemed to not load up after installing, as if no bootloader was present. I chose to just go back to linux, choosing not to deal with it. Now, i tried installing iDeneb 10.5.5, but during bootup off the disk, it hangs at an error stating something like "coreRAIDserver is not responding" and will not continue. I am almost positive that i have no raid card present in a laptop like mine. Is there any boot paramaters i could enter that would completely avoid loading anything related to RAID? I can give any additional info on request. Thanks in advance for all help.
