evil1337 Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Okay, so ive previously had wonderful experiences with some of the Intel Atom ITX boards, but my spare rig has just been replaced, leaving me with the following: AMD Athlon X2 5000 GA-M61SME Gigabyte nForce 405 based motherboard 4GB DDR2 667Mhz GeForce 7800GTX Samsung SATAII HDD I've gotten to the end of my tether. Having searched on the forums for hours, i can find references to people who are running this mobo, but nobody has explained how, or what flavour they have used. I've got iDeneb 1.3 (10.5.5 i believe) which boots to installer, but having tried all sorts of combos, i cant get past first-boot!? Can someone with experience on this board, or at least this chipset, point me in the right way; do i need to try a new Kalyway or iAtkos? Cheers! Try iDeneb 1.3 with these settings: Language: Your language only Chipset: Nforce (if don't works try nforce-test) Fix: AMD fix Video: Nvinject 0.2.1 XMB (x is the amount of RAM of videocard): Audio: the choice for your chip, if it is (if not sure nothing) Lan: the choice for your LAn, if it is (if not sure nothing) Application: All.
