Hi all,

Is there any hope for Leopard on Lenovo T400? I have installed IAtkos 10.5.5 and I have the following problems:

  • Graphics works only on internal Intel 4500 graphics card, and only in 1024x768 resolution. Use of discrete graphics (ATI X3470 results with Leopard reboot)
  • Ethernet (wired and Intel 5300 wireless) does not work
  • USB does not work
  • Sound does not work

I have also tried to install IPc 10.5.6, but I get kernel panic when I try to run the installation.

Is there a way to enable high resolution on T400? - native resolution is 1440x900. I dont care about graphics acceleration or which card I'm using - I would be more than satisfied if I could just get high resolution. For me, this is prerequisite for further work on Leopard installation on T400.

Many thanks in advance for all the help and suggestions,

Kind regards,

Hrvoje

Mate, there are many posts already on this so just search around a bit. In brief though:

ATI Drivers: Not there yet but should be coming soon - http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107526

Intel GM45 Express Chipset (and it built in graphics card X4500): no drivers and none on horizon since Apple is not using this chipset in any of their machines right now.

USB should work fine (mine is)

Wireless: no driver

Ethernet: works if you install this patch: http://techresearchinfo.blogspot.com/

Also, read this http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph.../Portables#T400
