lurscher
good day i'm being said by a friend in this forum, that my mobo (asus p6t with intel x58 chipset) won't support the vanilla kernel but needs voodoo 9.5.0. I tried boot132 + retail and the best i got was that it started booting but at some point its loading extensions, the video blanks away, and the machine reboots. do i need to get a specific boot132 image to get 9.5.0 to work? my retail is 10.5.4. No visible difference upon enabling ahci or ide emulation in bios. even in verbose mode, i don't get a timely chance to read out the last line since it reboots my hardware specs are: asus p6t deluxe (with i7 intel cpu of course) sata hd and optical drives nvidia 9800gt 1gb (btw, i have a macbook pro 1.1 with tiger 10.4.11, let me know if i can use it to help me get this thing installed in some way) suggestions are welcome , thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144993-attempting-132retail-on-asus-p6t-deluxe/ Share on other sites
