marliwahoo
I was having trouble with the 10.4.5 installs on a identicle copmputer to my own. The installs worked but had "issues". I tried Ghost -It worked great. Cloned 40 gigs of HD in 25 minutes. It xbenchs a couple of points higher than the drive I cloned !? (I have no idea why) I just started useng it - so if there are problems -I'll repost. Ritchie
Ghost is a great tool for OSX and some LINUX BSD distros.. you can clone any PC running OSX to any other system and will boot with no problem... OSX if you see it plain and simple works like livecd it has all the drivers and adapts on boot so it's the faster and safer install for me.. the only problem is that you stack with the size of the partition... norton cannot see the actual size that is using and not recognize the OS so copies the whole partition.. marliwahoo
The only thing I have found different is that a "tmp" file that was invisable is now visable. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14483-norton-ghost/#findComment-92793 Share on other sites
