I have been reading and learning from all over the place and it is a fantastic source of knowledge. If something is not understandable is because of my english, sorry about that... I have a Pc Pentium 4, and I would like to test Mac OS X in order to know if it pleases me and buy a Mac. Because of that, I've been reading the issues to get to that and I have chosen the distro iAtkos that seems to be right for me. I haven't prove it yet, but I have seen that, in the process of instalation, I have to chose some drivers (or kext) to get my hardware properly running. This topic is to get advices about that. I don't know if I have to choose Vodoo or Vanilla kernel, or the correct driver to my nvidia, etc. So, I write my hardware below and I hope someone to help me to choose the right options in order to get a good instalation when I try in the next few days. CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 3200 Mhz Motherboard: AOpen s661FXm-s Chipset motherboard: SiS 661FX Video: nVidia GeForce FX 5700 (256 Mb) Sound: Realtek ALC655 and Echo Audiofire2 (Firewire) Hard Drive: ST312002 6AS SCSI (120 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA) Net: Ethernet Fast PCI SiS 900 D-Link Atheros AR5001X+ Wireless Network Adapter Firewire: Texas Instruments TSB43AB23 1394A-2000 OHCI PHY I think that's all. Thank you very much. Greetings Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144671-instalation-iatkos-5%C2%A1-en-pentium-4/ Share on other sites
