nemanjan Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I have a problem, I installed iDeneb Leopard 10.5.4. the HP 550 laptop, the installation completed perfectly, lift the system without any problems but at the beginning when you need to set, country, region, keyboard and the file transfer everything goes great, but always returns to the beginning again to choose a country, region ... Is someone had the same problem and if you let me know how to help resolve this problem. Thanks in advance! Is someone had the same problem and if you let me know how to help resolve this problem. Thanks in advance! Fix: 1. Run single user mode using the -s flag while booting 2. Mount the file system as mentioned when you boot "mount -uw /" 3. Change the root password using the command "passwd root" 4. Touch (create) the .AppleSetupDone file by typing "touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone" This will make MacOS think that the wizard has already been completed. When you reboot you will be prompted with a username/password dialog box. Log in with the username "root" and the password previously specified.
