flatron08
Hi, I have Ideneb 1.3 and updated to 10.5.6 automatically from the software update, but I would get an error saying "You need to restart your computer" everytime I tried to boot the Mac OS So I booted with my Chameleon CD and deleted the Extensions.mkext at System/Library and the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext at System/Library/Extensions Now it's working fine! For those of you who doesn't have a Chameleon bootloader CD like me, you might want to do this: Open the Terminal from the installation CD and type this: cd /Volumes/HardDisk/System/Library rm -rf Extensions.mkext cd /Volumes/HardDisk/System/Library/Extensions rm -rf AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext Then exit the Terminal and restart your computer I hope this help some people Happy new year! llasting
Hello, TNX Flatron for the post. Can someone confirm that explained method works in all cases ? And that iTunes and other applications are working as well ? I have default (vanila) kernel, NVIDIA added driver (that was a bit tricky). Have a gr8 09.
