baker7 Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 I've been trying to install 10.5.5 (iDeneb 1.3) on my Asus V6Va notebook for a couple of days now with no success. The install DVD boots and performs the installation without problems, but the boot process then hangs with the "still waiting for root device" error. I have a IDE harddisk with a single partition, so it can't be a SATA issue. The notebook uses a Pentium M, an Intel 915 PM chipset, 2GB RAM and an ATI X700 mobile graphics adapter. Has anyone successfully installed Leopard on this notebook? Any tips how to proceed? I'd be very grateful for help...
