Recently I started working again on my bootable USB Pen and I installed Mandriva Linux on it.

The only problem is that I cannot make ext2fsx to work with my 2.1 GB ext3 partition.

I have heard many people with problems with it on Leopard.

I have tried the following:

1. http://fuz2y.com/?p=1

Results:

A few kernel panics on startup and afterwards no sign of a Linux volume or even the /Volumes/Linux folder

2. mounting it with

mount_ext2 -x -o rdonly /dev/disk1s5 /Volumes/Linux

Results:

It said that the alias /Volumes/Linux is broken.

I unmounted it and tried again and kernel panic.

Maby I sould make my drive ext2 witch does not have journaling?

I don't think this would solve the problem as I am mounting my drive readonly anyway.

Or maby my partition is corrupted? I runned fsck and it said clean.
