I get this error every time I try to load the Kalyway 10.5.2 "system config file ' com.apple.boot.plist' not found". I know this error has to do with my IDE dvd drives. Is there another way I could install Leopard without having to buy a SATA DVD drive? Is there a workaround? Could I try to put it on a flash drive and boot off that? Or try to install through Vmware because I have Vmware workstation 6.5. A link to a tutorial would be very helpful.

Thank you

I tried iAtkos 5i and it gave me the same thing.

and my hardware is

Intel D975XBX2 mobo

Nvidia 6600

Core 2 duo E6600

Creative X-fi Platinum

you can install iAtkos using an ide drive, what version are you trying and what hardware are you using

I got iAtkos to work on my little brothers HP and it is using an IDE drive. I think the problem is originating from the motherboard's built in Marvell Raid utility. Is there a way to disable that? Please post a link to disable the Marvell Raid Utility.

Thank you

EDIT: Okay I got the iAtkos v5i to install but when I rebooted it when to the grey apple screen loading screen. When it finished loading it would just send me back to the Mac OSX x86 installer. Did I do something wrong? I couldn't get back to my XP install so I used Gparted and got back to it. I also tried putting the chain0 file into my windows partition and editing the boot.ini. When i selected leopard from the screen after it rebooted it said

"Windows could no start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.

Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.

Please check the windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."

I would really like to know what did I do wrong or if there is something I am suppose to do.

I also tried booting from the Leopard partion first by using Gparted. Without the disk in the drive I rebooted my computer and then it went to Intel® Boot Agent GE v1.2.28. Then it just tries to load something and said "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key. I put the iAtkos v5i Disk and it gave me the samething. Please help me.

(by the way my XP and leopard are installed on the same hard drive but different partition. I could do that right?)

Thank you
