iMiXIMi Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 I can't seem to get it on my new Lappy. What format does my partition need to be to install OSx86 on it. I've tried NTFS, FAT 32 and Unallocated, but KAlyway, iAtkos, or iDeneb couldn't find it under Disk Utility. Any suggestions? realityiswhere Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Oh, that's not a filesystem problem, that's a motherboard chipset problem. Your motherboard chipset is only partially supported by the dvd you're installing with. What motherboard chipset (southbridge specifically) do you have, and which dvd are you using?
