realityiswhere
Kernel conflict.. you most likely chose an incompatible kernel, or no kernel at all during the install. If you chose no kernel it would install the vanilla kernel, which (pretty much) only works with intel core2 cpus, if you have another type of processor then it would cause instant reboots. If you do have a core2 cpu, enable NX-Bit (also called No Execute) in your BIOS. realityiswhere
So I take it you didn't select any kernel then... reinstall and pick a supported kernel, such as sleep or stagexnu if you have the option. realityiswhere
so i take it you didn't even click 'customize' in the bottom left corner during the install, after selecting which drive to install to. click it, lots of options.
