GavinRoskamp
Hello everyone here. I've got two G4 Macs running Leopard. 10.5.6 (latest updates) build 9G55 on both. The first is an eMac G4 1.25GHz 1GB RAM with ATI Radion 9200 and the second is the iMac G4 1GHz 15" USB 2.0 update (eMac is the USB 2.0 update as well) and it has the nVidia GeForce4 MX. I know that on older Macs you get an opaque menubar instead of the normal translucent one. I really would like the translucent one on my Macs. Is there any addon to get it to go translucent? Any hack to tell Leopard that I am running it on a faster machine? I know it seems weird that I actually WANT it, as most people hate it, but I think it spices up the interface just a bit and I like it. Thanks everyone! -Gavin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144129-opaque-menubar-on-g4/ Share on other sites
rhyguy
i think if you use silk (usanity APE plugin), it uses the transparent menubar on old macs theres a demo, so you can try it out Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144129-opaque-menubar-on-g4/#findComment-1023114 Share on other sites
